Tia Bow marks a new chapter for Irish songwriter, Fionnuala Fagan-Thiébot. Moving away from songs rooted in oral histories, Tia Bow channels a deeply personal narrative, charting life's landmark moments as she steps between shadow and sunlight.

Her sound, a unique blend of folk and electronica, draws inspiration from trip-hop pioneers like Massive Attack and Portishead. This distinctive style will be showcased on her upcoming debut album, Blackberry Path, set for release in 2026. Produced by Michael Mormecha of Tree Song Studios, the album features his signature electronic beats, electric guitar, and percussion, alongside transcendent vocals, keys, synths and strings by Tia Bow and long-term musical collaborator Irish-Filipino musician, Clare Galway.

Supported by the CQAF Music Bursary and an ACNI Project Fund, Tia Bow's Folktronic style, blends electronic textures with powerful, story-driven songwriting.
